CaliforniaChoice® Offers Bonus to Brokers who Move Health Net Groups
9/16/2026

CaliforniaChoice has launched a limited-time bonus program paying brokers $100 for every Health Net direct group member they transition into the CaliforniaChoice small-group program, as they look to support agents in their efforts to move groups that are being displaced by Health Net's exit from California's group commercial market.
How the Bonus Works
The math is straightforward and uncapped: a broker who moves:
- a 12-member group earns $1,200
- a 28-member group earns $2,800
- a 63-member group earns $6,300
There is no maximum bonus and no minimum qualification requirement to participate — any Health Net direct group that transitions counts toward the payout.
The bonus is available to brokers regardless of how they place business with CaliforniaChoice — whether working directly with them or through a General Agency partner.
Who's Eligible
The program covers Health Net direct business only. Bonus amounts are calculated off enrolled member counts at initial enrollment. Newly sold groups must be active at the time payment is issued.
