
Aetna will now offer its Over-The-Counter Health Solutions® (OTC Health Solutions®) program to Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) members in Florida. It’s the newest way that Aetna is supporting AFA members on their health care journey.
What Is It?
Eligible members will receive $100 annually ($25 quarterly) to spend on hundreds of over-the-counter (nonprescription) CVS Health® brand health and wellness support products at select CVS Pharmacy® locations.These members are automatically registered for the program - there are no extra costs or steps.
How Does It Work?
- The member goes to a participating CVS Pharmacy® location. When they visit an enabled store, it will have blue labels on the shelf to show the eligible products. Some enabled stores will have a designated shelf for eligible products and a digital catalog in the store. They can also use this catalog to plan ahead before going to a CVS Pharmacy® location.
- The member chooses eligible products and brings them to the register.
- They present their Aetna® member ID card and tell the cashier their date of birth. The cashier will then apply the allowance to their total.
- If there is a remaining balance, they can use another form of payment - including their health savings account (HSA) balance - to complete the purchase.
