Effective April 1, 2025, LifeScan, the manufacturer of OneTouch products, will stop shipping their diabetic meters to Aetna members. Members who want a OneTouch meter can still get one at no cost by bringing a manufacturer voucher and prescription to their local pharmacy.
Aetna's Blood Glucose Meter Program allows members to receive a no-cost diabetic meter once a year to help them better manage their diabetes. Historically, diabetic meters have been mailed directly to members from the manufacturer when plan sponsors participate in the program.
