The exit from the commercial Small Group health benefits market may be stressful for you and your small business clients. Aetna is here to reduce that stress.
Aetna's plan to bridge the gap focuses on improving your experience and your clients' outcomes. It leverages the quality and competitiveness they bring to every Small Group opportunity, with some additional perks to make your life easier.
As of today, here's what they're doing to make it easier to sell Aetna to small groups currently with a carrier that may be leaving the group health insurance market:
- Offer you additional compensation depending on the number of groups you move to Aetna under the A Place to Call Home program
- Lower the national IMQ threshold to 9 or fewer enrolled employees, so you can save time by rating more groups with GRx.
- Offer longer contracts, up to 18 months long, to Small Group AFA and Fully Insured 51-100 calendar year deductible markets.* This lets groups lock in their rates for longer. And, if they buy off-cycle, it could help them get back to their original effective date.
