Anthem has released new rates and plan updates for Q1 2023. Quoting is now available.

Portfolio Updates
While many plans remain the same, a few have experienced slight benefit changes, some of which have impacted the plan name. In addition, EPO plans will be discontinued. A new Gold PPO HSA plan is available on both full and Select PPO networks offering a $1700 deductible. Additional details on plan changes coming soon from Anthem.
Underwriting Reminders
All current underwriting promotions have been extended through Q2 2023. This includes:
- Network pairing options
- No DE-9C for groups 3+ enrolling
- 25% participation for groups 5+ enrolled; 65% for groups 1-4 enrolled.
- IFP is a valid waiver (on and off exchange)
Dental and Vision
For new business there is no rate action for dental and vision plans. Renewal plans will change as follows:
- Essential Choice/Metallic: 3.5%
- Dental Net and Legacy: no change
- Blue View Vision: no change
Coming in early Q1 2023, assignment of benefits (AOB) will be automatically applied to new and renewing groups for small group. Members who are receiving care out-of-network will be able to assign payment directly to the provider. More details to come!
Important Dates
- Q1 2023 rates will go live on Producer Toolbox on October 2, 2022
- Renewals will be released on Producer Toolbox on October 25, 2022
- Renewals will be mailed to employers on October 27, 2022
- Renewals will be released to EmployerAccess on November 1, 2022
