Anthem | Good News. Scripps Health and Anthem Reach Agreement

Anthem Blue Cross is pleased to announce that Scripps Health once again participates in the Anthem Blue Cross network. 

As you know, the contract between Anthem Blue Cross and Scripps Health terminated effective January 1, 2025. Despite the contract's termination, both parties continued active negotiations. These ongoing discussions resulted in the successful negotiation of a commercial contract. The 21-month contract is retroactively effective to January 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.

Anthem has initiated the process to notify all parties who received a hospital termination letter (members, clients, brokers, agents-ABC*, physicians, and HMO groups).
