Anthem made temporary changes to health plan benefits to provide relief and ensure healthcare access for members who are impacted by the December 2024 coastal storm in Santa Cruz County, California.
The changes were initially in effect from February 14, 2025, through March 15, 2025 for impacted members who are residents of Santa Cruz County. The relief has been extended to June 27, 2025.
The changes also apply to emergency responders who have been activated to the impacted area by their state or local agency, but who do not live in the impacted area.
