Hy-Vee Pharmacy, a midsize regional chain with 273 locations, has chosen to exit the Base Network, effective March 1, 2025. To ensure broad national access, CarelonRx will add the following pharmacy chains to the network, also effective March 1, 2025.
- Supervalu and Food City Pharmacy, Central region plans.
- Lewis Drug and Weis Markets, Inc., West region plans.
Please note: There is no impact to Hy-Vee in Rx Choice, Advantage, or Performance Networks.
Your clients will be notified by CarelonRx or Anthem starting the week of December 2, 2024. Member notification mailings specific to Hy-Vee Pharmacies moving out-of-network will begin on or around December 20, 2024.
