Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona is working to streamline their administration to make the group experience smoother. They expect minimal disruption for most groups.
Effective 1/1/2024:
- Group term billing and group termination: first of the month following termination only.
- Group billing cycle and group effective date: first of the month only for new business.
- New hire adds: first of the month.
- Dependents termed due to turning 26: first of the month following the month in which the dependent turns 26.
- Premium grace period: 31 days.
