Blue Shield wants to ensure you have the information needed to be successful for the launch of EET Renewals on August 1 for November renewing groups.
Here are some essentials:
- The renewal month availability schedule, including when you can process changes in EET Renewals, is posted on the Broker Connection Renewal Center.
- After market launch, renewal changes will be accepted 90 days before the anniversary date through five business days after the anniversary date.
- If you want to make any plan or product changes, you are not required to quote new plans! You will be able to preview quotes in EET Renewal, but quotes won’t carry over to the renewal contract.
- Any member-level enrollment changes not found in the Renewals or Open Enrollment tools will be available in EET as regular maintenance submissions.
- Brokers who acquire groups through the Broker of Record process can view renewal information and process changes in EET Renewals on the date the change takes effect.
