CareFirst is aware of ongoing technical issues within the Broker Portal and Hub that are negatively impacting data accessibility, which has created delays for installation and enrollment processing. They deeply regret any inconvenience this disruption may be causing—especially during this busy time of year.
CareFirst understand the importance of providing stable and dependable partner capabilities, and their technical teams have been working urgently to find a solution that will allow you to resume normal business functions as quickly as possible.
- For January effective dates only: Targeting full functionality of the portals on Tuesday, January 2.
- For February new business and February renewals with benefit changes: Benefit changes cannot be completed in the portal(s) at this time. Availability of this feature will be communicated by Monday, January 8.
CareFirst is making every effort to expedite the processing of the existing enrollment inventory for January 1, 2024, inclusive of new business and existing business with new membership.
If there are urgent group member enrollment requests related to critical and immediate access to care, they can be submitted to AISOS@carefirst.com through Monday, January 1.
