Health plans offering group or individual health insurance coverage must annually report prescription drug and health care spending information to the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Treasury (the Tri-Agencies).
ConnectiCare must report this information for 2022 by June 1, 2023. This includes employers and employees who may have only been covered for medical insurance through them for part of the 2022 calendar year.
ConnectiCare has reached out to employers via email. They already have premium information in their billing system; however, employers must report:
- Average percent of medical premium paid by employer
- Average percent of medical premium paid by employees
Please complete the survey by May 15, 2023 to meet the requirements of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA). ConnectiCare is obligated to indicate whether or not each employer that was covered in 2022 responded to this survey.
