In 2024, CoPower is introducing a new, simplified portfolio of 5 VSP plans that meets the needs of over 80% of the small group market.
Easy participation and contribution guidelines:
- Voluntary: 0-49% contribution; minimum 2 participating; Open Enrollment available.
- Contributory: 50-99% contribution; minimum 50% enrollment. Open Enrollment available and No Waivers required.
- Non-contributory = 100% participation; no Open Enrollment and Waivers required
New enhancements included with all plans:
LightCare: provides eye care for ALL members
With LightCare™, members who don’t wear prescription glasses have access to an annual eye exam plus can use their frame and lens benefit to get non-prescription eyewear from their VSP® network doctor.
Essential Medical Eye Care: Members have access to supplemental coverage for urgent and medical eye care.
A standard copay of up to $20 is required for medical eye exams. Other covered services are covered-in-full.
Contact Lens Examination Copay: With a separate copay for the contact lens examination, the member’s cost is capped at $60, and allows access to the full benefits allowance towards the cost of lenses.
