CVS Health® Expands COVID-19 Testing to 1,200 Sites

Aetna’s parent company, CVS Health^®, has expanded access to COVID-19 testing to 1,200 CVS Pharmacy locations across the country. Each site offers drive-through testing. Tests will be sent to an independent, third-party lab for processing, and results will be available in approximately three days. 

Collectively, the sites will be able to process up to 1.5 million tests per month. Testing will be overseen by licensed MinuteClinic® health care providers. No testing will take place at CVS Pharmacy® stores or MinuteClinic locations. 

Testing will be available to individuals who meet the criteria established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.gov) in addition to state residency and age guidelines.

Important: Patients will need to pre-register online, in advance, to schedule a time slot for testing. A physician referral is not required.
