Flexibility with waiting periods for new hires
If there is no break in coverage, Delta Dental will waive the waiting period for new hires in voluntary groups of 2-99 people. Proof of the member's previous dental coverage is required, which includes:
- Copy of enrollee/dependent ID card
- Summary plan description
- Screenshot of the prior carrier’s website showing continuous coverage
New age limit for pediatric dental care under DeltaCare® USA
Children through age 13 are now covered for pediatric dentist visits under all DeltaCare USA plans.1
Cone beam coverage
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans are now included in PPO plans as a major service and eligible once every 12 months.2
