Health Net’s Q4 2020 small business rates will have a 2.7% decrease for HMO and HSP plans. There will be a 0.7% increase for PPO and EnhancedCare PPO plans. The small business Q4 2020 premium rates are effective October 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. There are no plan changes. These rates can be released immediately. However, you must include a disclaimer, “Rates quoted are pending completion of regulatory review.”
Q4 2020 will be especially challenging amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Health Net is responding by highlighting key product solutions for small business employers and increasing support to brokers. They are also offering members more options for telehealth and alternative-site care and removing barriers to care.
Surprisingly Affordable Platinum Plans
In today’s pandemic-impacted market, members may face urgent financial concerns. A viable – and maybe surprising -- solution is to quote Health Net’s Platinum plans since they are in the most cost-effective metal tier in Health Net’s small business portfolio. Platinum plans offer the lowest out-of-pocket (OOP) costs when you consider total costs including premiums and copays.
