Effective July 1, 2020, Health Net Large Group is launching two new deductible plan designs for their Elect Open Access (EOA) and ExcelCare EOA products. These plans deliver robust benefits at a very competitive price point.

What you need to know:
- New portfolio plans are quote-ready for a July 1, 2020 effective date
- To achieve cost savings, these new 2020 portfolio offerings employ a calendar-year deductible
- The deductible does not apply to primary care physician (PCP) office visits, so members have regular and easy access to care when they need it most
- Preventive care services are still at $0 copay
- Plans include Teladoc at $0 copay, MinuteClinic, and Heal (urgent care only on HMO tier) benefits
- They also include wellness benefits, such as myStrength and Decision Power®
The deductible applies to these facility services:
- Inpatient hospital facility admissions
- Outpatient facility services
- Outpatient surgical center services
- Emergency facility services
- Skilled nursing facility services
- Inpatient admissions for mental disorders/chemical dependency
