Health Net released Q4 rates. However, rates quoted are pending regulatory approval. There are no new plans or termed plans, and there are no changes to their specialty lines of coverage.
Below you will find the statewide quarterly average rate change:
• Full HMO 0.9%
• Limited HMO -0.7%
• Full PPO 0.9%
• Limited PPO 3.5%
• Full PPO HSA -0.4%
• Limited PPO HSA 1.9%
Underwriting Change
Health Net revised their start-up group guideline changes effective July 1, 2019.
• Groups 6+ are now required to be in business 2 weeks (previously 4 weeks).
• Payroll for 4 weeks is still required. However, only a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the requested effective date is required. The remaining 2 weeks may be for the time after the effective date.
