Paperless billing is the new standard at Kaiser Permanente® starting January 2020. Go green and save some time by using Kaiser Permanente® online tools to view and pay bills. Groups will get their last paper bill in December 2019 unless they opt-out.
Kaiser Permanente® is mailing notification letters to the groups' current billing contact address between now and November 10, 2019. A login will be created for any group that has not set up an account at kp.org or opted out by the end of November. Groups will get a third letter in early December with their login credentials.
Still Prefer a Paper Bill?
Groups can still request paper bill by returning the postcard enclosed with their notification letter or contacting Kaiser Permanente® at 800-731-4661.
To Set Up Online Billing
Groups should do the following:
- Register at least one user with access privileges on account.kp.org to view and pay bills. Employers can also give their team or individual brokers access as needed
- Opt into receiving an email when the bill is available to view each month (recommended)
- Set up the autopay billing feature (recommended)
