MediExcel Health Plan has established a temporary prescription drug refill program in the U.S. for vulnerable populations, as a contingency during COVID-19. This program will run until October 1, 2019.
The program gives members access to a limited formulary of 100 commonly used maintenance medications for the following conditions:
- Diabetes
- Heart Disease
- Hypertension
- Cholesterol
- Women’s Health
- Mental Health
Members can pick up prescription refills at select Walmart Pharmacies. Restrictions apply and not all chronic health conditions or maintenance medications are available. Members can call MediExcel’s Doctor Line at 619.365.4346 (option 5) to determine eligibility.
