UnitedHealthcare has announced the following updates and changes for Q1 2025 in Virginia:
- Quarterly Rate Change:
- HMO: 0.5% increase
- HMO HSA: 0.9% increase
- POS: ranges from 0.6% decrease to 1.4% increase
- POS HSA: ranges from 0.7% decrease to 1.5% increase
- Plan/Portfolio Updates: Plans have been updated/adjusted for actuarial value. All plans include UHC Core Rewards. All non-HSA plans include Care Cash, $0 copays for children's primary care visits, and $0 copays for virtual visits. HSA-qualified plans have a cost share of $0 after deductible for virtual visits.
- Network Updates: The Choice EPO has been discontinued. Participants will be mapped to a new plan at renewal. The OCI Preferred portfolio has been reduced to a single plan; all other plan participants will be mapped to an OCI HMO plan at renewal.
- Underwriting Guidelines: No changes
