UnitedHealthcare has released rates for Q4 2019. There are no changes to plan benefits, packages, or networks. The statewide average increase is 1% for HMOs and 1.5% for PPOs.
eServices Update Coming in August
UnitedHealthcare will transition their Employer eServices (EeS) sign on to OptumID (OID) in August. This is to provide a single sign-on experience for users. Invitation letters will be sent asking brokers and employers to sign in and connect their accounts. UnitedHealthcare will send out periodic reminders to those who have not yet created their account. Users will have until October 31, 2019 to create their new OID.
Teledoc Joins Virtual Provider Network in September
Effective September 1, 2019, Teledoc will join the list of virtual visit providers available to UnitedHealthcare members. AmWell and Doctor on Demand will continue to participate in the network.
