UnitedHealthcare has announced that, beginning on August 1, 2023, groups of one subscriber will be required to provide copies of four quarterly wage and tax statements from the preceding calendar year. These will be required in addition to the most recent quarterly wage and tax statement filed with their state.
This process will apply to new business customers when pended for any reason, and for renewing groups receiving an eligibility verification audit.
Oxford Healthcare began this requirement on April 1, 2022, for new business, and will begin it on July 1, 2022, for renewing groups receiving an eligibility verification audit.
