UnitedHealthcare Updates Multi-Carrier Underwriting Guidelines

UnitedHealthcare has announced that they are now able to write ACA small group age-banded rates alongside Kaiser composite rates.

All other multi-carrier underwriting guidelines for California apply:

• There must be at least 25% participation between the participating carriers, with five California employees enrolling with UnitedHealthcare;
• A complete copy of the most recent billing statement from the current carriers is required; and
• Applications or waivers are required from any employees not reflected on the current billing statement(s).
