Western Health Advantage (WHA) announced a rate pass for Q2. As a nonprofit tax-exempt public benefit corporation, WHA is designed as an alternative to the typical HMO. They were created through a coalition of doctors, hospitals, and medical specialists in Northern California. Collaboration is key to treatment as WHA works with medical groups and hospitals on key decisions.
Flexible HMOs
With WHA’s Advantage Referral Program, members get access to specialists from select medical groups, expanding access to specialty care outside of their PCP’s medical group.
