Canopy Health and Western Health Advantage have mutually agreed not to renew their provider service agreement effective January 1, 2020, ending a two-year partnership in the Bay Area. This means that Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and San Francisco counties will no longer be in WHA’s service area, effective January 1, 2020.
WHA will begin to notify impacted groups with October 1, 2019 renewals currently being prepared for distribution. LISI will contact brokers with impacted groups. As WHA continues to develop a transition-of-care plan, we will keep you informed. WHA is committed to supporting our brokers through this process.
