Effective January 2019, the first three LiveHealth Online visits are free for PPO and HMO members, but not for PPO HSA members.
Anthem Blue Cross offers LiveHealth Online to all members. Patients can visit providers using a smart phone, tablet, or computer instead of going in for an office appointment. The doctor can send any prescriptions to the member’s pharmacy. There is no cost to sign up or download the app. Copays for a LiveHealth Online visit are the same as for a primary care office visit for PPO members. HMO and PPO HSA members pay a flat $49 per visit.
