COVID Protective Expenses Now Eligible for FSA, HRA, and HSA Reimbursement

The IRS announced that spending for personal protective equipment can be paid or reimbursed under health FSAs, Archer MSAs, HRAs, and HSAs. It applies to the purchase of personal protective equipment, such as masks, hand sanitizers, and wipes that are used to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. This spending also counts as a deductible medical expense.
