Look Back Measurement and Stability Period Implications
Applicable large employers commonly utilize the lookback measurement method to determine full-time status for purposes of the employer mandate.
However, the fact that utilization of the look-back measurement method comes with a period of time during which employees who average 130 hours during the measurement period are considered full-time (i.e., the stability period) is often overlooked.
