Amwins Connect Insurance Services, LLC (”Company”) is committed to protecting you and your clients' privacy with a 'no-sharing' information policy while visiting or interacting with Company websites. This Privacy Policy sets forth our current privacy practices with regard to the information we collect when you interact with our websites. By accessing Company websites, you acknowledge that you fully understand Company’s Privacy Policy and consent to the information collection and use practices described in this Privacy Policy. The Company websites contain information regarding the Company and its services. The services described in this site are available only in those states and territories of the U.S. specifically referred to within the description of each such program.

The information we collect through this website and from other sources is used to provide information for health insurance coverage through Company’s health plan carriers and to provide other products and services to our brokers. We may share information with our contracting health plan carriers during the underwriting process, as well as affiliated businesses as necessary, to provide services through such companies. The information we receive is a significant part of our business and one of our primary assets. In the future, we might buy, sell, exchange, assign, or trade business assets, which may include this information. Also, in the event that Company is, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information may be one of the transferred assets. We may also release personally identifiable information when we believe that the release of such information is required by law or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, or others.

This site may contain hypertext links to other World Wide Web sites which are completely independent of this site. Company makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or authenticity of the information contained in any such hypertext link, and any hypertext link to the World Wide Web site of another person or entity shall not in any manner be construed as endorsement by Company of such person’s or entity’s World Wide Web site, products or services, and Company will not be a party to or in any way monitor any transaction between you and third-party providers of products or services. Collection of Personally Identifiable Information to Provide a Service or Correspondence

We may also obtain information about you from third parties. We may obtain information about employers and their employees through a participating insurance broker. This can occur when the employer requests a quotation for health insurance coverage. In order to obtain a quotation from Company, the broker will obtain information regarding the employer’s business and employees. This information is provided to us in order to obtain a quote. We may also receive the aforementioned information regarding employers and employees when a broker uses our online account management functionality. This personal information is collected and stored in a manner appropriate to the nature of the data, and may be passed on to our affiliates. Once our affiliates, receive this information, that data also becomes the property of each respective affiliate. Any request to opt out of future communications from such affiliates must be made directly to each such party.


Transmission of Information & Security
Even though we endeavor to ensure that all available procedural safeguards are integrated into our website and we adhere to the generally accepted standards of security for the purpose of protecting information provided by visitors to this website, transmission of information through our website has the potential of being unstable, unreliable and insecure. Company makes every effort to ensure the secure collection and transmission of sensitive user information using industry-accepted data collection and encryption methodologies such as TLS (Transport Layer Security), SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and PGP (Pretty Good Privacy); however, there is a risk that such information may be illegally intercepted. Additionally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment in a locked room. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to this information. Our employees are required to use password-protected screen-savers and must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information when they return after leaving their desks. Employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.

Company prohibits the transfer or sharing of usernames and passwords. This website is not designed for or intentionally targeted at children 13 years of age or younger. The Company websites comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and its accompanying FTC regulation protect the privacy of children using the Internet. Company does not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13. The Company websites are not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13, and is designed to block our knowing acceptance of any such information unless such information is provided by or with the consent of the child’s parents or guardians. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will immediately obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information from our servers. Your California Privacy Rights (California Residents)
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our users who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Users may request this information by contacting the Company by email at privacy@amwins.com. We currently do not share any personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.


California Business and Professions Code Section 22575
Currently, we do not track your behavior on our websites. However, in the future, we may track your behavior, in which case our websites will not honor “do not track” browser settings. Third parties such as advertising networks may collect information from your use of our websites. We will modify this privacy policy upon implementing a tracking process.


Personally Identifiable Information
You have the legal right to access and edit the Personally Identifiable Information that you have provided to us. You may change any of your Personally Identifiable Information in your account online at any time. You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, because we keep track of past transactions, you cannot delete information associated with past transactions on this site. In addition, it may be impossible to completely delete your information without some residual information because of backups.


Aggregated Quoting Data
The Company may share information with authorized partners regarding "Aggregated Quoting Activity" that takes place on our websites (defined as all quoting activity including any information relating thereto except for group level data).


Broker Broadcast Newsletters & Promotional Emails
From time-to-time, we may offer free e-newsletters and occasionally send out promotional e-mails as a service to our visitors. We send e-mails only if the user has opted to receive communications from Company through its websites or its affiliates.


Social Networking
The Company websites may in the future include chat rooms, forums, message boards, news groups and/or links to social networking sites. If so, Company shall be deemed as a passive conduit and will not be liable for any of the transmitted information. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information.
